Plot: During a routine patrol, Fluffy is surprised when a vampire she stakes refuses to die. The next day, at Farmer's house, the gang research one unusual element of the vampire encounter, and discover some worrying facts.
Returning to the site of the previous night's action, Fluffy, Ash and Alex are confronted by an old enemy, one who really shouldn't be where they find him. The result of this meeting leads Fluffy and Alex into the depths of a lair of vampires and a fight for their lives - while Ash and Farmer struggle to use new technology to save them...
Review: I helped work on this film. The script is very well-written, the dialogue is very funny, and it's a real homage to Buffy.
The finished film will be available to download from the web site from late December 2001.
Selenay's note: Normally I don't accept reviews by the work's own creators, but this is such an unusual idea that I decided it warranted some special consideration. The website looks great and I'm looking forward to the finished product, which debutes on-line after the World Premier in London, 8th December.

Plot: After the events of Bad Beer, someone has to look after Cave-Buffy. Guess who...
Review: You remember Bad Beer? Tried to block it out of your memory? Succeeded? Anyway, this is one of the many B/G Shipper responses to that episode. Most of them were much better than the actual episode (although that isn't hard) and this is one of the best of the bunch. The Cave-Slayer concept is used wonderfully, Giles is flustered (always fun) and I almost killed myself laughing in places. The antics of prehistoric Buffy, and her attempts to thoroughly confuse her Watcher, are great fun and it's even more fun watching him try to resist her. Considering the episode it sprang from, this is a real treat (if you're of age) and the ending is sweet without being sickly. Just go read it. Now. Selenay want feedback...oops, regressed *giggle*

Five Things That Never Happened to Dawn

Plot: Five small changes. Five possibilities. Five ways it could have gone for Dawn.
Review: The 'Five Things' theme (I have no idea who produced the first one but I'd like to shake their hand) has produced a lot of interesting fics in many fandoms. In Buffy, Dawn is frequently either ignored or given the typical 'annoying bratty sister' job in fics. Admittedly, she has some annoying bratty sister moments in the show, but it's great to see a fic that actually looks a little deeper than that.
This is well-written and in character for everyone. Each of the five possibilities are not only interesting, they sparked definite 'hmm' thoughts in me. Any of them could easily be expanded into full fics, but I like the short snap-shot approach here. It works and it makes you think a little.
